Guest guest
Its sounds like an allergic reaction. You should call your pharmacist and see what they used as a filler. Skip
Guest guest
Your itchiness is probably " dysesthetic itching " --dysthesia being the name for certain MS symptoms like burning, and pin and needles. (I've never heard of anyone having that reaction to LDN, though anything's possible.) Normal " itch medicine " doesn't help it. Prior to being diagnosed with MS, I had this symptom for about nine years. I took Atarax, a prescription antihistamine, which was the only thing to help; steroids might've helped too, but didn't want to go down that road. Ironically, the itchiness disappeared about a year before I was diagnosed.
Guest guest
I was on 3.5 mg LDN for 2 months when I experienced itching as described--everywhere. Couldn't sleep soundly. Drove me nuts at nite. I mix my 50 mg tabs with distilled water and take with diet soda, which I would not think would be considered a filler. Maybe I shouldn't mix with soda, but it tastes like crap if I don't, but I'm pretty sure it was not an allergic reaction in my case. Dan Re: [low dose naltrexone] LDN? MS? Itching? Any Relation? Guest guest
I was DX back in Dec. 2004, but had symptoms showing in March of 2004. I have been on LDN for eight months now. I am thankful the itching isn't all the time. It just started in the past month. Okay, thanks for that. donna www.freewebs.com/lovelaugh/ -- In low dose naltrexone , " Landau " <CLANDAU@...> wrote: > > Your itchiness is probably " dysesthetic itching " --dysthesia being the > name for certain MS symptoms like burning, and pin and needles. Guest guest
I'm sure the pill you are using has a filler in it too. -- Re: [low dose naltrexone] LDN? MS? Itching? Any Relation?
