I think she may have some younger than 3 but I'm not positive on that. She is the doc using LDN on autistic kids.
Guest guest
my son started LDN when he was 2.3 months, with great results. you can find lots of info on DrJM's list: Autism_LDN fwiw I don't think we can talk about ldn not being suitable for sick children as a healthy child would not need this type of therapy in the first place... but I can see more complicated issues in case a child is receiving lots of medication that might interfere with ldn and vice versa (guess this was what you implied by sick). but as for the age being impediment to receiving ldn, that has not arisen as a problem so far. ldn has been used in kids for about 2 years now, ever since DrJM launched the first trial. Guest guest
Connie, Does he drink a glass of water after his LDN? It really makes a difference in preventing a headache. > > and gang, Tom and I are off this morning to the neuro for the first > visit since he started the ldn. Guest guest
Connie, I noticed it myself at first. I am on the liquid LDN and it was very soon after I took my LDN that I got a headache. I was telling a nurse about it and she was not surprised. She told me that it had something to do with enorphins, receptors and sodium. I didn't understand. I also have heard several others post about this. Someone even posted that drinking water after the dose was what Skip had said to do to prevent a headache. So, it's pretty well known to be a fact. > > Thank you for the info. Can you explain why you get a headache if you don't > drink the water, and is the headache just at the time you take it or all > day? Thanks. LDN will not help seizures, brain damage, etc. LDN could help keep the immune systems stronger. I was in this profession when I was diagnosed with MS working with mentally handicapped children, the 1st two years in skilled nursing and total care and most were tube fed, then I moved to behavior management of self-abusive mentally handicapped children.
