feeling awful

Hi, I started on 3mg eleven nights ago and I didn't notice any

difference so on my 5th night I took 4.5mg.That night I had to get up

twice for the loo and I was able to walk to the bathroom and back

reaching out to the walls for balance, normally I have to use a

wheelchair.I was thrilled of course even when I felt my usual self in

the morning because something was definately happening.Next day I felt

a bit sick but still took 4.5mg that night.Next day felt sick again but

I was trying to ignore it but that evening I was absolutely dying and

felt my ms symptoms were worse but I still took 4.5mg that night

because I had read that somepeople feel worse before better but the

next day I still felt awful so I went back to 3mg that night. Now I

just feel a little sick which I can get over and my legs seem heavier

and when I wake during the night there's no improvement. I know it's

early days but should I just wait a while on 3mg to see if anything

happens, or will I try 4.5mg again? I have read that its recommended

that msers with spasms should stay with 3mg and I have them but it's

very tempting to have another go. Thanks for any advice.

Hi ,

Thanks for replying. Have you any idea how long I should stick this

out (feeling sick) or should I stop for a while and try again? Did

you have a similar experience?

Thanks Selina.

You're not nauseated or

headachey sick are you?

The way I read it is your

MS symptoms that have

increased. If that's the

case it may take you

awhile to get adjusted to

the increased

endorphins. Also you may

have particular food

allergies and the LDN may

be triggering that. Read

Dr. Jaquelyn McCandless'

last post on this forum

even though the subject

is List topics or

something like that(not

too far down the board).

You may need to back down

to 1.5mg for 1 month and

then increase by 0.5mg

each month. I started at

4.5mg and I experienced a

few odd things but the

most noticeable were

extra stiffness for 3

months, numbness of my

hands for 2 weeks and my

eyelid twitched off and

on for months. All

finally faded. If

symptoms are too severe

for you to handle, back

down your dose for awhile.

Bren, It must have felt great even if it was only one day. Side effects must be

real bad. My doctor will not let me try it because I can get by with a cane and

have a high quality of life. More research should be done! Parmajak

=======

Selina,

What is the filler that's

being used in your LDN

capsules?

I had touble with Avicel

(cellulose) causing

headache, nausea and near

vomiting. I had been on

LDN with lactose filler

for about 4 months and

had no problems and then

switched my filler to

Avicel and became quite

ill. Switched back to

lactose and all was great

again.

=========

Try to get your liquid

LDN made from Pure

Naltrexone Powder. Your

LDN is being mixed from

the Naltrexone/Nalexone

tablets which have lots

of various fillers. Ask

your pharmacy if they can

get pure Naltrexone

Powder, it contains no

fillers.
