Irmat vs. Gideon's NY Compounding

Hi all, I've used Irmat Pharmacy for LDN & pay out of pocket $38/mo

(usually get 3 mo supply at once) & I'm considering Gideon's which I

read is $15/mo +shipping at http://www.low dose naltrexone.org list of

reliable compounders. Since I live in the area & pay out of pocket,

it seems Gideon's would be worth consideration if I hear from others

that they are as reliable as the original LDN supplier Irmat's

(quality control, etc).

I assume Gideon's would use any typical filler that is on the rx...

Of course my main concern is LDN's narrow therapeutic dosing window so

I obviously don't want to get too little or too much. Since I take

LDN mainly as a prophylaxis, there is no immediate way for me to judge

response to such a supply change unless perhaps there is some blatant

dose-bioavailability difference. I did get the initial sleep

disturbance the first month of LDN but no longer notice any side

effects. My latest labs remain normal.

If you feel more comfortable responding in private about this subject,

feel free to drop me an email but the group would also probably

benefit with a group reply when possible.

Thanks so much & Best Wishes, Josh

Two questions, Josh:

1. Where is Gideon's Pharmacy in New York and do you know how long

they've been on the approved pharmacy list?

2. Have you considered Skip's Pharmacy in Boca Raton? They'll ship to

you, too, for the same amount of money as Gideon's.

Has anyone out there used Gideon's?

1) Google search outputs & maps it at:

Gideon's Drugs Inc

1385 Broadway

New York, NY 10018

(212) 575-6868

I think I've seen Gideon's (without a price mentioned) on the site's

reliable list for the last year+ that I've looked into LDN but can't

say with certainty.

2) Yes I've considered Skip's but I'm much closer to NYC & still using

lactose filler.

Not sure how the reliable list is established (which is why I

originally went with Irmat's). Anyone that knows more about that or

Gideon's, let us know, Thanks, -Josh
