About 3 am is also when the melatonin/serotonin shift happens and leads to stimulating people to wake up a few hours later. At 3 pm, when you feel sleepy, it is this shift again.

, the poster mentioned 3 in the morning after takng her very first dose. I realize technically this is part of the next day, but isnt that a little early for this 'flood' of endorphins, especially since, according to the website, LDN is blocking endorphins between the hours of 2 and 4am. Cant you see where what you're saying doesnt make much sense? Perhaps you missed the part where he mentioned 3AM. Maybe there was a big play happening when you were reading it!

Hi, Dave,

Enorphins are PRODUCED between 2am and 4am. That's why the spike

occurs then.

UMMMMMM, normal endorphin activity occurs between 2 and 4, LDN blocks it. This was her first dose, dont think there was a 'spike! :0))

Dave,

Are you talking about me(, Arkansas) mentioning 3am or the

other from Ohio, there are two 's on this forum. This

is what I wrote below, never mentioning 3am in any of my replies to

this subject. See below, I copied what I first wrote and pasted it

below.

There have been some that have had this happen. I am not a doctor

but I think it's the intense boost of endorphins that first dose

gives that is so intense that some get an extreme amount of

endorphins to work with and the next doses the body has adjusted to

the high endorphin spike and a leveling off starts to

occur.

from Arkansas, been on 4.5mg 3 years for MS with no

progression.

I agree, very interesting. I think is referring to endorphin levels the day(s) following a dose. No argument, thats the way it's supposed to work. Your situation is different, if an endorphin overload causes disease reversal, lets just put a bunch in a hypodermic needle and end this stupid disease right now, I'll be the first one in line. For someone who is using a walker to get out of bed and walk down the hallway like there was nothing wrong with them, this is nothing short of amazing. I think this needs to be seriously looked at, thats why I was asking what meds she had stopped just previous to starting the LDN.>> Hello Everyone,> I have read all posts and really believe that Dave> and and the one that foxhillers posted needs to> be played out here. It blocks the endorphins in our body at the time we take the LDN

(...techinally, the ones produced the night before). That's what

tricks the body it into producing more. The 'new ones' are not what's

being blocked.

But that is what is unusual, this was her first dose.

I think its this Post

42008

> MS is extremely unpredictable, but if it were the rush of

endorphins,

wouldnt that happen pretty much the next day?

> ======

======

The next day after the first dose is what I'm talking about. While

LDN is

blocking our endorphins our bodies are trippling the amount of

endorphins that

will carry us through the next day and hopefully not allow our

disease to

progress. That endorphin spike sometimes wakes us up in the middle

of the night,

the block is on and endorphins are producing in mass production

creating energy,

wakefulness, sometimes some may get a rapid heartbeat or heart

palpatations.

It's that carry-over of mass produced endorphins from the first

night's dose

that generally causes those with very low endorphins to be able to

perform tasks

that following day that they may not have been able to do for years.

That big

endorphin boost may not be as big the second dose because the

endorphins are

already up from that 1st dose so the boost may not be as strong with

the second

dose.

Hope this makes sense, been watching college football all day.
