Guest guest
, Have you tried enzymes yet? That may help you to expand her diet. Are you giving her any probiotics? Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/
Guest guest
Jody, Yes, we are using Zyme-Prime, 1 capsule, 3X a day with meal. She did well on first day, then had diarrhea on 2nd and 4th day. But the tummy seems slightly smaller so we're continueing with that. Yes, we give her Kirkman multiflora, 1 capsule, 2x a day. We were giving her probiotics before we started SCD. Should I start yogurt? Will she tolerate it? Should I introduce nuts to boost her fat, calories, carb and protein? > > , > > Have you tried enzymes yet? > > That may help you to expand her diet. > > Are you giving her any probiotics? > > > Jody > mom to -7 and -9 > SCD 1/03 >

Guest guest
, The multiflora is not recommended for SCD. Elaine recommended only L. Acidophilus as a supplement. As I remember, her caloric intake wasn't low. Just a little too much protein. Right? Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/
Guest guest
, I am just checking in--I'm afraid that I haven't been following too closely since Ben (16) is apparently out of the die off stage. That was very stressful. And such a relief that he is better. I am very concerned about what I just read. Your daughter appears to be a bit yellow and she is so exhausted that she is flopping around? Is that still correct? I didn't notice her age--but I would think it is time to bring in a doctor. This diet is clearly a powerful thing--so exciting for most of us. But some of our kids are sicker than others. Can you call an expert? I know that you probably know more about the diet than your doctor--it is a huge problem. Any updates?
