I stay away from all diet drinks now as they have been linked to

the Gulf War Syndrome. aspertame when it reaches certain

temps (i.e. being cold,warmed then refridgerated again)

becomes very harmful to one's system. It actually can turn into

formalgahide (sp?) the stuff that is used in embalming and

preserving animals...

,

I had read and researched this a couple years ago, too, and

have subsequently stopped drinking any diet sodas for the very

same reason! Specifically since we have no idea what high

temperatures the cans have been exposed to prior to our buying

them, (nicely re-refrigerated). Every time I see a stack of soda

cans on the pavement outside the store, in 90+ temps, waiting to

be taken inside, I cringe! That's not the way I hope to be

" preserved " .....
