Guest guest
Yes, the result is very likely wrong. One physician told me that there is a 50% error rate in the organic acid testing. If you see symptoms of yeast, then it is likely that your observations are more correct than the test. Have you tried Candex? One thing you might consider is to try giving Candex, and then if you see " sandy " stools, that would be a symptom of yeast die-off, which would be an indication that there is yeast. Hope this helps, Marilyn leaky gut, low thyroid/adrenal, SCD 3 months Yeast and bacteria indication in organic acid test > Hi, > > I have just received the result of an Organic Acid Test. Guest guest
" I have just received the result of an Organic Acid Test. Among many things, it stated that my daughter is low in yeast, but high in bacteria (Clostridia). " Clostridia cannot be remedied by SCD alone because clostridia can feed on carbohydrates as well as protein. S. Boulardii can be used as well as drugs like Vancomycin. Guest guest
, Thank you so much for your post. My daughter doesn't have red cheeks, doesn't have red rim round the anus, doesn't usually have rashes, doesn't have white coating on tongue or mouth. She does have a big tummy though she's skinny. But her tummy got bigger AFTER she has started SCD. The ring around her eyes also got darker AFTER she has started SCD. Could Clostridia also cause the big tummy? Could it be that SCD controls her yeast and there is a Clostridia overgrowth? Am I making it worse by putting her on SCD? > > > > Hi , > > > > > I have just received the result of an Organic Acid Test.
