My husband says that to me all the time......he does nothing but is able to

criterize me - that is a skill. I am getting better at ignoring him. I

constantly think of the movie Arthur where the butler says " I wait with utter

anticipation for the next sylabell that you will utter. " I look at him and

wonder " what pray tell will he say next " .? He was great - thats why this is

so upsetting. We've been together since 1986.

Rosemary in New York with 3 children with CF - they are 12, 10, 6...I coined

the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT " ; and now we have a dog named - are you ready for

this - TOBI after their medication!

I watched a show today (I think it was Ricki) any it was on bullies and there

was this couple and the wife was always putting her husband down, never

saying a nice thing about him (she was a real bitch) and they were there for

help. Anyway the therapist that was there to help them told the man to stand

up to her if you let her walk all over you she will continue to put you down

and if stay up to her she will eventually realize she your not going to put

up with it. I think that is GREAT advice!! So I say to anyone that's having

problems let them know how you feel and let them have it!! If they aren't

going to help there are other fish in the sea! Deb A
