Thankyou for responding. From what my doctor tells me is macrolipasemia is a

rare benign condition when broken down lipase molecules stick together with

another molecule to make a MACROmolecule that cannot be filtered by the

kidneys so the result is an elevated serum lipase level. He said that it is

rare and that it will not hurt the pancreas if that is what it is. I only

have symptoms of mild nausea and occasional mild right sided pain. CT and

sono were both normal and My white count is actually a little below normal at

3.6 so he is not ready to say I have pancreatitis yet. He said this is a

noninvasive test and if it turns out to be macrolipasemia that I can go home

and not worry. But worry I am, I am thinking ANYTHING could be wrong with me.

He said that this is so rare that there is not a commercial test available

for this. He said he did a nationwide search. So he spoke to an Immunologist

and they think they can make this test. So pending results of that test which

is in 2 weeks I 'll go from there. The waiting and not knowing get a little

tough. Thankyou for listening. This group has helped a lot.
