Guest guest
Kathy, Thanks for the website info. I e-mailed Dr. Brewster and he thinks I should get the "Docor Packet". I think I will do that and wait 'til I get it and read it to decide what to do. I ws unaware of all the dietary changes that need to be made. For how long do you due the treatments? Thanks for being very helpful with all you input. I do not have a problem with your directiveness. It's important stuff! -- [low dose naltrexone] EAP and Lynn, Hi! I was just thinking I could fax you a very informative and professionally written article about calcium EAP. I want you to present it in such a manner that the doctor will approve this. However, even if he does, he will probably charge you about 50.00 a treatment times 3 a week which is about 7200.00 a year without including supplies that you purchase. A very economical way is to go through one of the providers on the list at the library and have someone in your family or a friend who is a nurse of phlebotomist do the injections. I t would be far less expensive and more convenient for you. Believe me, I never thought my husband would turn out to be the "vein expert". I have tiny veins and they always miss me at the hospital. He never misses, God bless him. Just let me know if you would like me to fax the papers. Best, Kathy
Guest guest
Good evening everyone. Our neurologist prescribed LDN for Tom, my son. I was so happy I cried for about an hour. Got the prescription right to Skips, and hope to be starting next week sometime. Thanks again for all your well wishes and we still have a long way to go. Next is the nutrition and eap. I have several other appointments with the alternative medicine doctors, and I will follow through with one of them to have their input. Thanks again to everyone for all your support, and who ever is still trying to get the prescription ---keep fighting for it, and remember the PA doctor who does phone consults. Guest guest
, I would send it to you but it is about 75 pages just for the basic ms packet and I think it is 5.00 for them to mail it to you. Otherwise, I would make copies and fax. It is just really detailed. You know the diet can be modified to any ms diet you choose. I think the Swank ,best bet, Neiper way of eating, all these are good ways of healthy living through nutritious habits. The important thing is to stay away from dairy and gluten as much as possible and the large amounts of saturated fat. The injections should be maintained for a period of 7 years. In a very few selected cases, it was four years and thereafter large amounts of the capsules. Termination of the therapy early on can allow a large number of lymphocytes to attack the body at once. However, the added protection of LDN keeps this from happening to the body as far as I have been able to tell. I haven't done a shot in quite a while (probably two months). I will be doing IV drips every other day for the next month now so I can tell you more. I took a break as I knew I was taking the summer off from the large amount of massages I do and I wanted my veins to heal. Now that my season is approaching I need the added boost. After this month of every other day injections, I will maintain on one a week. Best , Kathy [low dose naltrexone] EAP and Lynn, Hi! Guest guest
We felt like dancing in the street too, just getting the prescription from the doctor. Does you son feel better? I don’t know if his symptoms are bad, but my son has responded very well to the steroids, and although almost blind in one eye before the steroids, he can see out of that eye again. I think he will feel less fatigued. Since he is not feeling lots of effects yet from the MS, I am hoping Ldn keeps the MS very quiet. Guest guest
My son was blind in his left eye (optic neuritus) 1.5 years ago. It happened suddenly and lasted about 3 months. He has about 80% now (better than my sight). He called his boss to say that he could not deliver pizza that night because "I am blind in one eye" Of course the boss said "That's the worst excuse I have ever heard." lol His symptoms right now are mild. If LDN stops the progression he will be fine. He is very active in sports. I stressed that he keep a diary. vic [low dose naltrexone] EAP and Lynn, Hi! Guest guest
Vic, I think you are right about the diary. I am going to tell my son to do the same. My son is 20 and just moved in with some friends in May, which is hard, because I don’t see him everyday. I just hope he is getting enough rest, and not getting stressed. Right now he is in college, working, likes to have money, so he pushes himself. Food is a big factor, and we have to get organized on the proper diet. Are you doing the copaxine also, or just the LDN? I wonder if he got bad this summer again, because he was up late, working too much, stressed about work and money, etc…..Stressed in the fall last year with school and work……He had a mild car accident about a week before his symptoms. I have autoimmune arthritic diseases and I know stress is a killer. Best of luck with your son. Maybe the guys would like to talk online. Tom knows a few girls with MS from our community, but no guys. Let me know if your son is interested and I will talk with Tom about it. Take care. Hope you have a nice holiday weekend. Guest guest
One thing that may be of interest to you is the sette Survey and the 1999 calcium EAP survey from the Brewer Science Library. These two surveys together are approximately 400 people sharing their results with one another. It is a wealth of info. I have spoken to at least 200 people on the therapy. None have had adverse reactions. I have taken the shots since 1999. I started out 3 or 4 times a week. Now it is once a month and I always do the oral just to try and keep the EAP levels in my bloodstream. Cakcium EAP can only do more help than harm. The reason is the cell membrane is protected. Therefore all dis-ease is discouraged in the body. Less free radical damage equals less inflammation equals less dis-ease. Write me if you wish.
