I have talked with Kathy about the

injections. Has anyone had any experience with the pills only? My son is not

too thrilled about the iv shot. I think I would have a really hard time with

doing it to him. I would not mind a doctor giving him the shot. Anyway, I

wonder if the pills would work. Conni

You got that right Juice. We have about 20 palm trees surrounding our property. I also have a fondness for sunglasses that borders on the obsessive compulsive side!!! Please write me and I will give you the info on calcium EAP. The website does not give enough info or merit to the treatment. Best, Kathy

Conni, I took the pills for almost 3 years. I feel it did nothing to stop the progression. You could try to find a doctor to give him the shots for a month. You would know in that amount of time if it was working for him. Perhaps he would feel so good, he would want to continue. It is so much easier to start something thinking I'll just try this for a few weeks."

You know what I mean?

It would be great if the LDN was enough to stop the ms without the EAP. Has he started LDN yet? Best, Kathy

Kathy, I don’t think he would mind a

nurse or doctor giving him the EAP. I would be a nervous wreak putting

something in a vein. We have a stable full of horses, and we give shots

all the time to them. Not in the vein though. I had a horse die on

me from a penicillin shot many years ago. The shot has procaine in it –to

cut some of the pain of the shot, and if it is near the vein, it will cause

them to go into shock and die. I am still nervous to give the horses

shots. I could do a small needle in the muscle to my son. I am not

even sure I could do the larger needle needed for avonex. The website

going around last night for the acam physicians…..I saw several that

advertise injections. I was going to call and see if they offered these

injections. Can the get the calcium eap? Conni

We are going to our regular neurologist

this Friday for a follow up. I spoke with her last week, and told her we

had made the decision to take the LDN, and not the avonex she wants us to

take. She was not happy about it, and told me to call the Cleveland

Clinic doctors. We know what they are going to say ahead of time. I

am going to take her the paperwork I have gathered, and let her borrow my video

I got from Skips. She said she would not keep it from him if he wants it,

but she said nothing is better than the LDN. I told her I disagreed and

that he would not be doing “nothing”. I told her we were not

waiting for this disease to progress….I tried to convince her with all

the success stories here. I will try once more Friday. However, I

am calling the doctors today on the acam list, and one other doctor in the

Cleveland Area, and also the doctor in PA who will do the phone

consultations. We did fill out the paper work for him already, and I will

fax that today. The only reason I am continuing on with the neurologist is

to gain another LDN doctor. I don’t think I should have to beg a

doctor for medication for my son. I want to get started on it also, and

have a call into my own doctor’s office. Conni

Kathy, thank you for offering to do all

that for us. I would be willing to go to Indiana if we had a plan to have

someone here do the shots. Do you think I could talk to one of the

alternative medicine doctors I have found and see if he would work with the Indiana doctor and get this

medicine or give him the shot? I found three doctors here. One is

only 15 minutes away, one about 45 minutes and one about the same but I have

not talked with them yet. Two do the Ldn. We have an appointment

next Thursday with the one doctor, and November for the other. I will

probably go to all three and decide which one to stick with. I only have

courage because I have wind beneath my wings……I would be crying in

the corner without all the wonderful help from you, and all the others here who

have helped me. I don’t want to start naming everyone else because

I don’t want to miss anyone. There have been at least one dozen

people hold their hand out to me, and I will be forever grateful. I hope

everyone knows how lucky we all are to have each other and this wonderful

knowledge base and emotional support system. Conni

Re: [ EAP IV calcium

The closest place is probably Indiana. You go there

and get it from Dr. . You stay for 4 days and he gets shots everyday. You

come home with a couple boxes of EAP and a letter from Germany saying the FDA

will not seize your meds calcium when you order it. hen you go to a blood lab

or find someone who is a phlebotomist and pay them to give him shots. My

husband learned how to do them. If someone in your family cold take the

phlebotomy course which I think is 6 weeks long, they could give him the shots.

If you are interested, call me again and I'll try to help you figure out a

different way than going to Indiana. I would not start LDN and EAP at the same

time though. I would get LDN and do it for 3 months. Modify the diet and see if

he goes into remission. If not, call me and we will devise a plan together. I

will try to find a doctor in Ohio for the EAP if and when he needs it. I

think you have tremendous courage Conni. Keep the faith. Kathy

Conni, I'm assuming you're in the Ohio area. I don't know if things work the same up there, but if you know somebody associated with your local EMS, they might be a potential 'shot giver'. I'm in a small West Texas town, and any of the paramedics would help me out like that if I needed them to. I also have a cousin who is a nurse who lives nearby. We, too, have horses and cattle. The guys give those shots, and they have given me IM B12 before, but I'm not lettin' em touch the vein! Just a thought. Thank you. That is a good idea. I have a

cousin who is a nurse and one of our boarders is a nurse. I would have to see

if they would give him the shot. We also know a lot of the ems fellas here.

That is another good idea!! Conni

Conni, you know from the research, LDN cannot harm you. The dose is so small, it is almost like homeopathy. Some doctors get kickbacks for prescribing certain meds. I feel so much joy when I read a message like yours. I really believe your son is going to do well. It is not her right to be unhappy with your choice. It is her job to be professional, empathetic and non-judgmental. She is probably so brainwashed, she would take the Avonex. I really wonder how some of these doctors get through med school and I wish Naturopathic medicine was acknowledged in the state of Florida. I certainly know what path I would be traveling. I think you should fax the LDN info to your son's GP. GP's are more flexible than neuros usually. I am excited to hear of your progress. You will find a way to get it I know. Best, Kathy

Conni, I do think you can find an alternative doctor to do the shots. After you go to Indiana and find out how to do the injections and get the letter for the EAP, it is a done deal with that doctor. Everything you will ever need to know after that, you can call me. The doctor will charge you an arm and a leg for phone consults. Just think of getting EAP and equate it to getting a driver's license. I am sorry to say I know more about the therapy than the most of the doctors who are using it here. I am not trying to be insulting. I am just saying I dedicated alot of time to his readings and have this stuff memorized in my head word for word. Some doctors have tried to change his protocol and if it's not broken, don't fix it. He was the first doctor I know of who knew in 1964, you needed to protect the cell membrane to control auto-immune conditions. He has stated in his papers if you start treatment within 6 months of diagnosis, your symptoms will go into remission for an indefinite period. Thank you for all your kind words. Blessings, Kathy
