> Dear all,

> I started taking LDN last September for Primary Progressive MS.

I had difficulty walking (20-30 mts max), frequency and urgency

urinating, itchy feets and numbness. The initial effects were

amazing and I was filled with hope. I felt my fatigue lift

overnight, my feet returned to their normal colour and stopped

itching and I stopped getting up to go to the toilet at night.

Fatigue and the itching of my feet did come back but I rarely go to

the toilet at night compared to twice a night previous to LDN. My

walking is worse at times but sometimes it is better.

progression. I still feel it is too early to say. On bad days I

feel it doesn't work.

>

or dropped the bottle on the floor, loosing all the liquid and

therefore not having any for days I got ill (Flu. fever, colds and

laryngitis). It seemed more than a coincidence as this happened 3

times. So I always intend to take LDN.

All of the above is to treat Candida? I didn't know about L-Lysine.

--------

L-Lysine is an anti-viral

Dr. McCandless has her Autistic kids use natural anti-virals like ViraStop. For

me I used L-Lysine as my antiviral. Dr. McCandless also will use prescription

anti-virals also. She uses this in conjunction with LDN, diet, candida fighting

supplements, chelation, etc.

These all appear to be just 'good' in general, although I think it's a little extreme to have to go this route. I know one person with MS that is very strict about what he eats, and how much. He takes supplements, uses things like fish oil, and has tried to follow an extremely strict diet. Even though he did all this, it has had absolutely no effect on his MS, he still has the same symptoms. I think moderation is important, trying to exercise as much as possible, drink plenty of water, stay out of the heat, etc. You can really overdo it when it comes to trying to decide what you should eat, what you should drink, what supplements to take, etc, etc. To be honest with you, I dont think your diet has any direct effect on MS at all, dieting can be applied to ANYONE in general, with or without MS.>> Are all these good for MS?> [low dose naltrexone] Re: 1 Year on LDN Progress Report>

Many people do seem to do better with one of the MS diets. I know not everyone sees great results, but enough feel better that there must be something to it (at least for some). It seems to be that by following one of the diets, taking recommended supplements would both be great extra help with building up your immune system when taking LDN.

My best

Yes, because most of these are anti-fungal and anti-viral.

Of course I agree Aletha. I dont think there is a DIRECT connection, but you're right, dieting, supplements, can all contribute to feeling better. >> Many people do seem to do better with one of the MS diets.
