Guest guest
I just finished week 5 on LDN for psoriasis and p arthritis. The joint pain is still there but not nearly as bad. A storm moved through KY today and normally I would ache all over with stabbing pain in my left hip. I only have a dull ache there. My skin continues to gradually clear. It seems to be a slow process. The scaling is less and I'm less itchy. The most improvement is on my lower extremities (legs and arms) and seems to be working it's way up. I have less achne, too. On a different note, I saw 3 dermatologists and my GP. All refused to let me try LDN b/c it's off label so I had to get into a self-paid research study to get it. My mom, who has P, was so impressed that she printed out the doctor's folder info, took it to her doctor (also in Lex) and she's going to prescribe it for her. I guess I'll be chaging GP's now! Guest guest
there you good. good for you!! I'm cracking up about the off label use because i spent the day on the phone with all the people taking care of my mum discussing medications all which off label used for drugs and we had quite the (excuse my french!) pissing match trading antidotal evidence as to using one drug over the other. i'm so glad your feeling better. cyndi On Aug 10, 2006, at 8:27 PM, Ann wrote: > I just finished week 5 on LDN for psoriasis and p arthritis. Guest guest
My Dad has psoriasis and I have been wondering if LDN would help him he has arthritis also. Would you recommend LDN for him. I take LDN for MS myself. [low dose naltrexone] 5th week on LDN for P and P Arthritis - more improvement but slow! I just finished week 5 on LDN for psoriasis and p arthritis.
