The only thing that comes to mind re SCD is if the cream had carageenan added. I

don't

know if there is an issue with th yogurt maker as I don't use one.

Ultra Pasteurized product in general are not good. They have taken

them to an extreem high temp and then they add industry standard

unlisted items to cover up the smell and taste. There was quite a

discussion about them on another group that I belong to a while

back. If you want the details post back and I will try to find some

of the information.
