The ad just above the lost cats caught my eye in the paper yesterday.... Although I don't read the personals, this has to be the oddest one of the year.

It read:

"Occasional Buddhist monk now in rigorous Christian study program, 48, white male seeks gal for intellectual enrichment, Chinese English translator a plus."

Is this a niche market or what? The monk wants a "gal"? Huh. What am I missing here?
