Hi

Thanks for your care and concern. I printed out the information from

the Kirkman website on Idebenone here for you. I give Nick one

capsule a day. He is 3.1 years old and 35 pounds.

Kirkman's Idebenone Hypoallergenic Capsules

$25.00 Form: Capsules

Package Size: 60 ct.

Product Class: Specialty Product

Primary Use: An analog of Coenzyme Q-10 possessing powerful

antioxidant properties

Now Shipping

Description:

Idebenone is an analog (variation) of Coenzyme Q10, a powerful anti-

oxidant biochemical known also as " ubiquinone " and most commonly as

CoQ10. This substance is the energy producing unit of our body

cells. Every process in our bodies requires CoQ10. Without CoQ10

life stops.

Benefits of CoQ10 in autism are:

Supplies energy necessary for proper Immune Response

Strong antioxidant power to help prevent free radical damage

Provides energy for the natural detoxification process in the liver

Helps fight off Candida and bacterial and viral infections

Helps correct immunodeficiencies

Enhanced Focus

Mood Elevation

Desire to engage in more conversation

Idebenone supplies all of the same benefits as CoQ10 plus some

distinct advantages based on its more complex chemical structure.

Though very similar in chemical make-up to CoQ10, its longer chain

organic structure gives it extra powerful anti-oxidant properties

making it a more effective " free radical quencher " resulting in less

cell and tissue damage.

Some leading doctors treating autism believe that Idebenone offers

three very distinct advantages over CoQ10 in supplementing

developmental disorders.

Studies show that Idebenone enhances brain structure and function

Its superior anti-oxidant properties protect body organs more

efficiently

Offers protection against excitatory amino acid neurotoxicity from

ingestion of these ingredients through the diet (Examples: MSG,

artificial sweeteners, canned soups and meats, spices, etc.)

Each capsule supplies

Idebenone

45 mg

units).

a

> month or so.(which is when he started regressing)

> -helps to keep YEAST in check

> -helps to stop stimming

> -immune system support and many other things too

> Well, as a last ditch effort, we ordered more, and Nick has been

on

down

> just since the start of the Ibenodone- he will actually put

puzzle

> pieces in the puzzle again, instead of staring at them in his

hands.

> He follows his sister around again, doing everything she does.

His

> humor is back. His imaginative play is back. His imitation

skills

> are back. His verbal ability is stronger than it was before -

> picking up words we are not teaching him in therapy. Everyone is

so

> surprised. And I have not stopped thanking God! We have been on

a

> nightmare ride since early January, and I can honestly say we

seem to

> be through the worst of it. We ARE sending in a stool sample and

> urine sample to Great Plains next week to get to the bottom of

his

> issues with yeast and bacteria. They told me the Nystatin might

have

> made a bacteria problem worse if that was the problem and not

yeast.

> But we will not know until the results are in. WE have also sent

in

> hair samples to DDI in the last week.

>

> So anyway, to those who remember " worried mom " a month or so ago -

we

> are doing just awesome. Not to mention the fact that we did not

have

> to go back to GFCF diet. He eats everything in sight, including

> apples and peanut butter. (which are new additions that used to

send

read

was

> problem was elsewhere.

>

> Have a great week
