Hi group.

I went to my GP the other day (monday). I told him about Dr. Frim

wanting an LP. (I thought my GP was going to do it at my appointment,

but he can't, he doesn't know how) My GP reffered me to a nurologist

here in St. Louis, to do the LP. And to talk about the seazuire with.

My nurologist appintment is this Friday, I have to see her first,

then she'll schdrule the LP. It's frusterating, cause I already have

the LP ordered from Dr. Frim, but I have to see this other doctor to

see if she thinks it's nessacary. I just want it done already. People

say if you have high ICP, the LP will help for a few days. I want to

be pain free for a few days.

My Gp said it sounded like I had a seazuire, but that chiari, PTC,

and seazuires were sort of out of his leage. He's a cool doctor, and

I'm glad he's honest with me. If he hadn't called the nurologist and

talked with her, it would have been about a month before I could see

her, but instead I only had a 4 day wait.

My GP said NO driving. To try to avoid stress and excitement, as they

can bring on another seazuire. He wanted to order a lot of tests, but

thinks that the nurologist will order the same ones, and doesn't want

me to get poked more then I need to. If I have another seazuire

before seeing the nurologist, I'm to go to the ER, and he will start

the tests anyways.

saw my GP yesterday to get the MRI's done of his spine. We will

have an MRI appointment with in a week. I'll let everyone know

weather he has a spryx or not.

Not really much to tell, nothing has been done yet, but I wanted to

let everyone know. (because there's a few group members who know I

had a doctor's appointment, and I didn't want anyone to worry.)

Anyways, thanks, Rhealene
