Guest guest
Hi, I need some help with enzyme questions. I started my son on AFPep and N.F. a month ago. I started at 1/4 of each with meals, increased after a week to 1/2, then to 3/4 a week later), then a full cap a week later. I mix them in carob icing (with evening primrose oil after the 2nd week). After an intial reduction in violent outbursts and SI behaviour (head banging), he is back at it. I tried reducing the NF to 1/2 with a full AFP with each meal but it is not helping. I did not use Zyme Prime initially, because he is already very overweight (110 lbs.,4 years old, VERY tall). Then I read that ZP may help with weight issues. 1. should I add ZP to the regimen? 2. is the evening primrose oil " coating " the enzymes and making them unavailable? The behaviours seemed to return several days after adding this. 3. should I start giving enzymes with snacks? 4. is this signalling some kind of intolerance to the enzymes? 5. something else I haven't even thought of? I think he has yeast issues, we will look closer at that soon, that's why I backed off on the NF. HELP! Alane
