Guest guest
Hi all I got a bit of good news today. My brain MRA came out normal...I didn't think there was anything to worry about, but there's always that thought in the back of your head..ya know? Anyway, I picked up copies of my brain MRI for my neurologist. There sure were a lot of films. I was wondering if there are any examples online to compare too (not really compare but to show what chiari would look like on an MRI). The report says I have chiari and I think I can tell where it is. But in some shots on the films, it's visible and others it's not. So maybe I don't know what I'm looking at. Is it just visible from the back of the head? Can it be visible from the side? I'll be taking them with me on Thursday to see my neurologist and also have an EMG done. Then I guess we'll see how it goes from there. I'm anxious for her to see the films...but also worried that I will get the brush off. If I can educate myself for a bit with the films and then bring some of the publishings on chiari with me, then maybe I can get going with this. BTW, does a C-Spine MRI show chiari as well? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks and take care, Lori wehnau@...
