Way Off Topic: paper silhouettes

This is really off topic, but I was so impressed and I keep thinking

about this and had to share. A few weeks ago I was in a Dillard's

department store and saw a man there cutting a silhouette free-hand

just looking at a real live little girl. It was amazing to see him

work. I only got to watch him do this briefly, and I have never had

this done, but I thought it was a neat idea because you can even send

him a photograph of your child in profile and he will cut the

silhouette from the photo and send it back within three weeks. For

those of us familiar with how difficult it is to get a good smile,

this may be a neat alternative, especially as a gift

(grandparents?). I do not know how reliable he is, only that

Dillard's let him set up a booth. You can visit his site:
