I take a diuretic and have to take Potassium pills at the same time because that takes the Potassium out of your body when you urinate a lot.<< Peggy what they DON'T tell you is those pills also deplete your sodium levels too. I know because the worst of my cramping came when I was on diuretics for blood pressure too. They kept doing blood tests and more blood tests to see what was causing the cramps and though my potassium was fine my sodium was just a tiny bit low, BUT I stopped most those cramps by eating salt. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Guest guest
Hi Jeanne, Since I have been taking all these supplements (mega Vitamins & Herbs) for Adrenal Fatigue, I have not gotten any cramps. I can even stretch my legs at night without worry, something that I could not do before. I am feeling better by the day now, and I am only on 90mg of Armour and see no need for increase, at least not now. Ear ringing is less, pain and stiffness is less, no carpel tunnel feelings in my arms, etc. My Dr. told me that it would be 4 weeks before I even started feeling some relief, but I am feeling it now at only 2 weeks into her program. I am also on a special diet, that I follow about 90%. The 10% no-no is that I eat more fruit then I am suppose to, and probably a little more carbs at times. I totally gave up drinking soda pop. I rarely have anything with sugar. I am insulin resistant. (on my way of becoming a diabetic) Be careful about increasing your Armour. If you have Adrenal problems, you will continue to get worst, the way I did. Increasing Armour for me was a big mistake! I was totally burned out! I finally found a good Dr that I can trust! I am going to post what I am taking again, for the new ones, if you are interested. I am on NO steroids! And, this is working! My results: 7AM 0.40 11AM 0.10 3PM 0.05 10PM 0.04 " EXHILARIN " Metagenics stress defense formula, vegetarian herbal supplement (1-2) pills twice a day PANTOTHENIC ACID 500mg in AM & 500mg Noontime B-COMPLEX twice a day VITAMIN C (full spectrum bioflavonoids) * not to be pure ascorbic acid She has me on Metagenics ultra potent-C 1000 with metabolite support system (2000 mg) per/day So, that is 1 pill of 1000 twice a day FISH OIL 1 Tablespoon of Nordics Natural, Arctic Cod Liver oil MULTI- VITAMIN I use Nature's Plus from Mother Earth. Ultra Source of Life made with whole foods (vegetarian) It is VERY important to get high quality vitamins that are natural from food sources!!! You can't get these are K-mart, etc. Kathy Re: Leg Cramps? --- Bev...yes I get the cramps in my calves...they are really painful at times..so I have been doing deep tissue massage to my calves every nite before going to sleep....and sometimes, my calves hurt so...it brings me to tears....this seems to be helping...most of mine are at nite in bed...it does seem though that since I have done my last increase (up to 4 grains) it is not as often or as long in duration...so could be a combination of massage and the increase...jeanne > Does anyone here get leg cramps, specifically in the calves and feet? > ]

Guest guest
>>have you identified anything that starts yours cramping?<< Generally a hard day at work where I have lifted too many big dogs as in real muscle strain. That and not eating enough salt. For me the low sodium is something I have to watch constantly as I got so used to the taste of foods without it that I forget to eat enough. Once those muscles are tender bending over can trigger a spasm, I can't even tie my shoes when this happens! If they start at work, I have Hylands Leg Cramp pills which I keep there at all times. They seem to control them pretty well. Artistic Grooming Hurricane, West Virginia
