Guest guest
Hey everyone, how are you all? I am finally making a post. This last 3 weeks have been pure hell. I wouldn't wish this surgery on my worst enemy. I spent 5 day's in the hospital from the surgery, then made 3 ER trips and was admitted 2 more times. I was having such a difficult time breathing, it was so scary. They thought I had blood clots in my lungs... but, turns out it was pneumonia. So, I had to stay for that reason, and also because I was dehydrated. And may I just tell you.... the pain after the surgery, and for the first 12 days was unbelievable. I could not believe how bad the head pain was. And the nausea and vomitting was also terrible. I just have had a rough time of it. God Bless all of you who have been there, and god bless all of you who are going there. I'll be hoenest, I dont know that I would do it again. My symptoms are all pretty much still the same. I'm not healing real well. I went to my primary doctor today cause I'm having some troubles that are driving me crazy. Maybe ya'll can help. My head feels so full and I'm dizzy alot and have a hard time focusing. My ears stays plugged, feels like pressure. I plug my nose a pop them about 5 times an hour. And noise, bothers me bad. Everything seems to Echo, and I have to plug my ears all the time, cause I cant stand the noises. My Doc is very familiar with Chiari, he used to be a PA for a nuerosurgeon and has seen and done these surgeries. So, I am lucky. He sent me right over to a ENT doctor today and they say my hearing is fine. They say that all this is because of swelling- inflamation. And when I'm done healing this will all pass. But, then he mentioned a csf leak as well. He is suppose to call me in the morning, we " ll see what he says after he speaks to the ENT. What do you guys think from past experience? I had test done last week and they say there is no leak. I cant help but wonder if they are wrong.Anyhow... this is really the first time on the computer. I couldnt sit to type. I've sent a few little messages, but that's it. Thanks to all of you for your support, you have all be very nice to me and I greatly appreciate it. I wish you all pain free day's and nights.
