Guest guest
Hi all, I got my packet from the clinic in NY and it says I have to have a BAER test done prior to going. My ENT, referred to it as an ABR, he said it's just another term for the same test. My problem is, what type of doctor do I contact to get this done? I went for my ENG last week and I just happended to assume (bad idea) that the ABR would be taken care of the same day at that hospital, WRONG. Any ideas? I had my Holter Monitor Friday and the cardiologist will schedule me for the Tilt Table test after he gets the HM results....why, I have no idea. I guess doctors don't like otehr doctors telling them what tests to perform. The good things was that my cardiologist and my ENT were BOTH very knowledgeable about chiari. ly, I was shocked but oh soooo pleased. The Cardio. said that my misdiagnosis for som many years, to him, equates to a cardio not being able to diagnose a patient who has had a heart attack. I kow that is too harsh, but it made me feel like he was truly interested in my case and eager to help me get what I needed. I hope you all have a great day. My head is actually rather clear today and no headache. It's been a while :) D.
