Guest guest
Don't want to beat a dead horse...but I just read these posts and had to respond. The post op pain was the WORST pain in my life....................................................... To all People looking at surg in the near future and those of us that have had it already........ For those looking at surg., I do hope that these posts are not completely freaking you out! Its not a day in the park, its not getting a wart removed, ect...Its brain surg. This you should prepare yourself for, but fear is not a way to do so. Go into this surg knowing that you will wake up, you will get through it, you will be on pain meds, and you will come home! Most of us feel improvements within a few weeks, doesnt mean you wont have pain, its jut different, kind of like the pain is not for nothing, like before surg.... To those of us that have had surg., Perhaps we could lay off on the graphic details unless someone has come out and asked. And then only respond to that person. This is a support group and I for one think that causing a newbie or soon to be operated on person to hear that the operation is a living hell can cause no good. I for one wanted every detail, or so I thought before surg., but, big but (and i dont mean my BUTT) that is just the way I am. Just my 2 cents, which is what most of my thoughts are worth dawn, ny
