Guest guest
Hi Everybody: Well, this is my update. In case some you members are wondering. I was talking to my Neurosurgeon's secretary over the phone. It looks like I will have a three week wait. That is because of emergency surgeries. Like : Tumors, Aneurysms ... That is understandable. I don't mind. My goodness if there are sicker people with life and death situations, please let them go ahead. I guess it is like that in most hospitals. My NSG's secretary also said, " who Knows, " You could get a call from us next week. " Hmmm . Well, it gives me more time to get ready for surgery. I asked the secretary a few questions. She told me that surgery is usually three to four hours, but also, you really never know how long it is going to be. She also said that after my surgery I will go to a " special cares unit " . Until my Neurosurgeon feels I can go to a regular room. Then my hospital stay should be about five days. But, then again .. " who Knows " ? I will post when I find out my surgery date. As for now I am trying to get things ready and finish up a few errands . If any of you have any more ideas or experiences you would like to share with me. Please do so. Oh yes, I was wondering what you all thought of this " Do you think I would feel more comfortable in a hospital bed after surgery for home ? " I know I can get one, if needed. Please let me know. Thank you for your time. Take care and God bless ! debyet@...
