Guest guest
Dear chiari friends I have recently had a weird sensation where my leg feels like there is a heating pad on it. Normally I am freezing if anything and my feet still feel like icecubes to me, even if they are warm to the touch. My legs feel much heavier than normal and I am having more problems walking as of just recently. The weather has been cold and humid, which could account for things too. This is a new problem for me, one I have not even mentioned to my drs yet, just wanted to throw it out here first. I always thought being cold all the time was uncomfortable but find this different but just as uncomfortable. I can be freezing to the point I wrap up in blankets but have this one leg and hip that feel like July! I have been decompressed but do have cysts in my spine (arachnoid cysts) so am wondering if there may be a connection there. Maybe I am just going crazy...I'm sorry, too late LOL. I mentioned it to my husband and he, bless his heart, said why don't you ask your group! So, here I go, what do you all think? Luv & irises, from Montana
Guest guest
i also get cold/wet patches. it feels like i have dripped ice water on myself but there is nothing there and there is nothing i can do to warm it up either. i thought it was probably an extension of the numbness, and that that particular nerve was being even more squashed than the others so it literally feels dead cold. the other thing i get is burning patches, it feels like i have caught myself with a cigarette or summit and same again, i cant cool it down no matter wot i do. 2 the best of my knowledge i dont have carpel tunnel or anything like that, i get plenty numbness and tingling etc plus a million and 1 other symptoms. hope this helps kat acm1 (poss syrinx)
