Guest guest
I have constant high pitched ringing in my ears, which I've learned to live with....began immediately following chiropractic manipulation. Now these low pitched humming/throbbing sounds have begun. It sounds and feels like an electric current. These are intermittent. They are becoming more frequent and longer in duration and seem to be related to head postion. Does anyone know...is this anything to be worried about? Thanks & God Bless Melody
Guest guest
Hey, Melody. When did you go to the chiropractor? I have that ringing/whooshing/humming racket in my ears, too. It seems that the lower humming type noises are deeper, if that makes any sense. I have a full feeling in my ears, like pressure, too. The noise seems to increase with my head pain. Then, when I take a lot of pain meds, I think it's caused by that. I don't know sometimes if my hearing really is bad or if I could hear properly if all the noise in my head were gone. Or, is that what bad hearing is? I don't know about being something to worry about. I think it's just one of those Chiari things. Be sure to mention it to your nsg, especially if it's new, and it seems that your symptoms are increasing. Peace, tinnitus question > I have constant high pitched ringing in my ears, which I've learned to live with....began immediately following chiropractic manipulation. > > Now these low pitched humming/throbbing sounds have begun. Guest guest
I found this site that has an audio file that's meant to show what tinnitus can sound like, none of the samples are similar to the noises I hear (very high monotone sound) but as we don't all hear the same noises...... http://www.tinnitus-audiology.com/devices/index.html Shirley see my cats at http://communities.msn.co.uk/Friendsfamilyandfelines2 http://uk.msnusers.com/friendsfamilyandfelines3
