Guest guest
hi folks, recently graduated,c+5/17 jri.before i left the hospital last thursday, i was given my post op workout by my wonderful surgeon, the HULA.i was intrigued and excited as it seemed alot more fun to be doing the hula than a bunch of boring physical therapy activities.so several times a day i put on my favorite music and rock out doin the hula. i beleive the emminent dr is really on to something, as it seems to really help also was instructed to start working out on the stationery bike with no resistance, so i started that today. pretty amazing driving around town 3,1/2 days out of surgery if it weren't for this goddamn soreness in my butt, i can honestly report that so far i have been pain free, never once needing to take any painkillers, although it is obvious that i still have a way's to go before i am really back on my feet. i am also curious to hear from other hippies, their thoughts on working out, " the bed will be the death of you " ,said my pti, as opposed to lots of rest to let the muscles mend back together. sincerely art ,
