Have booked three weeks off work altogether and go back to 3 4 hour shifts when I do go back (Although I've told them that I might need more time than this but I'll have to let them know). Luckily, so far they've been brilliant about it. Can anyone tell me how long the actual operation will last? Not that I plan to know anything about it!!! Cheers Guys You are all brilliant!! Guest guest Posted May 26, 2004 Report Share Posted May 26, 2004 mo the operation lasts between 45 mins to 2 hours depending on your surgeon but I`m sure that there are hippies out there with stories of 24 hour operations....only joking you lot. Seriously mine took about 1.5 hours, where are you getting resurfaced?
