Guest guest
Hi Eva I'm not Spanish but I'd suggest you get in touch with MMT or Corin ( is not very common in Europe) for a surgeon's name near you who does resurfacing - they are the manufacturers. Please speak to another OS (Orthopaedic Surgeon) who does resurfacing before committing yourself. In the UK we are told that the Mediterranean diet reduces the need for joint surgery substantially and therefore there may not be as many experienced surgeons in Spain The following 2 manufacturers sites will help but they are in English http://www.resurfacingofthehip.com/index.htm http://www.midmedtec.co.uk/hip_resurfacing.htm Rog 2001 BHR both hips R Treacy someone from spain? > hi! Guest guest
Hello Eva I had a roommate when I was in Belgium who was from Spain. His name is Marcelo and he and his wife were both from there. He was 61yrs old and having Dr. DeSmet doing his right hip resurfacing. He is a lawyer from there and his wife was a judge. He does post on this web- site and will hopefully reply. If I can remember his e-mail I will get it to you. My only advise is talk to a bunch of doctors who are familair with hip resurfacing. Good luck Mike > hi! Guest guest
