Age:50 years

weight: 93 Kg

Severe pain in right hip, anable to walk for more than 5 miniutes

with limping

No pain while sleeping, sitting.

As per doctor in Dubai: It was Advanced degenerative arthritis with

extensive osteophytic formation and flattening of the femoral head.

some changes in the bone consistent with possible AVN old.

Gross antalgic gait. Flexion contracture of right hip of 30 deg. Zero

internal rotation. External rotation of 5 deg. Can flex hip only to

70 daeg. Atrophy in the quads muscle.

Gone under surgery at Apollo, Chennai, Dr. Vijay.C. Bose, performed

Surgery, on 26th January-2004. I was released on the 7th day.

I am perfectly fit now.
