Acadian EMS looking for Medics/EMTs for Gulf Oil Spill

Hey all,

Acadian's SMS service is asking for Paramedics and EMTs to deploy for oil spill

operations. Pay is $20/$15 per hour and NREMT is requested. Deployments of one

week blocks are preferred, and daily duties vary from 12 to 24 hours a day.

Assignments can be both land and ship-based.

said they will consider state certified personnel, but they are harder to deploy

(require side-by-side deployment with Louisiana certified personnel) and NREMT

is strongly preferred.
