Guest guest
Cindy, I'm so sorry. I have tears for you, my friend. What a beautiful way to end her suffering! I admire you for doing that, I'm not sure I'd be strong enough. She'll be there waiting to help you cross when it's your time. Until then, you will miss her, I know. Know you are in my thoughts and prayers! Love Lana 0:-) My kitty is gone I want to thank all of you for your support when I learned how ill my kitty was. After the vet visit on the 25th, when I learned she had cancer and wouldn't get better, she had about 4 relatively good days. She then began going downhill rapidly. Thursday morning I knew I needed put an end to her suffering. It broke my heart to see her like that. I called the vet Thursday afternoon and made an appointment for yesterday morning. I prayed she would be able to die in my arms-- not on the metal table. The vet explained he would give her a sedative, and come back in after it had taken effect. After he administered it, I held her in my arms. She slept peacefully away, and was gone before the vet came back in to administer the final drugs to put an end to her pain. It's such a comfort to know I was holding her during her final moments, so she could pass with the my arms cradling her. I sure miss her. Again thanks so much for your support. Love, Cindy

Guest guest
Ohhh Cindy... I " m so sorry your kitty has passed, but I am glad you were able to comfort her and ensure she went peacefully. None of us want our special friends to suffer one moment longer than neccessary. How are you holding up dear? Loosing a cherished pet is just so hard and awful. I remember wondering if I would ever be able to stop crying when I lost my last dog (also first dog). Many (((HUGS))) Cindy. I hope you had an OK birthday, although I imagine it might be hard to celebrate right now. Take care, -Rhea
Guest guest
Cindy I am so sorry to hear that your kitty is gone but may you take comfort that you were with her at the end. My sympathies to you. I am a real cat person and my kitty was very sick awhile back and it was heartbreaking to watch, thankfully he did recover. Guest guest
Oh Cindy, this is terrible, you must be heartbroken and just so sad. She's at peace now and knew only love in you arms, how could she not move bravely forward with such love and support. I hope that with each day, your heart mends just a little bit more. Guest guest
Cindy, My deepest condolences to you about your precious kitty. I had a similar experience with one of my kitties at the vet~ it's more comforting for the both of you to be able to hold your fur baby.
