Guest guest
Even the DOG knows it! Sherlock literally goes over to Dad and " asks " to be worked on by sticking out his arthritic leg. ~~~ Barb, I put my fingers on my kitty's leg-when I thought it was arthritis, and she tried to bite me, so I put them just above where I felt they should be. I could feel the sensation even out....at that same point, she looked at her back leg, looked at me and walked off without a limp. Now she seems to take it like that's what's suppose to happen and walks off at the same time I feel it's fine. I'm happy this helps to ease her pain a little, and it's something I can do to help-so I don't feel so helpless. There's no way our pets are imagining this.... I sure hope your dad can make it by here....they way my knees are...especially the one that will need the surgery...It's sooo bad. And they're affecting my hips and back. I'm sure he can help things a great deal more than I've been able to do on my own. I have so little knowledge on what can be done. I never even thought it would work when I tried it the first time! It was just right there....no thinking about it at all...I never do think about it, other than where I should be working to relieve the problem area. My fingers seem to find their own place, if it's not quite right, I can tell immediately. Its' the oddest thing. I was telling my dad about it, and think we'll get down to see him before I have surgery. Hopefully I'll be able to help him out. I'd like to try to help mom too, but I'm not sure she'll let me........ Your dad is amazing! And God bless him, he's helping so many of us. I think he has some good theories he's working on, and hope to learn more about it from him. Cindy H Wisc.
Guest guest
Mike, My thumb surgery is Aug 10th ....the knee surgery will be towards the end of the year. It so happens the thumb is the side the cane is used on.. {left knee--right hand.} I'm keeping my fingers crossed you have some " tricks " up your sleeve to help keep the knee more comfortable for 3 months while the thumb heals and goes through PT. I'm looking forward to meeting you and Darlene. Thanks so much for doing this to help us all out. AND hopefully you find your theories are indeed fact. Best of luck! Cindy H. ~~~ From: mikeuggen First, you most definitely are on my " must see " list. Second, when is your surgery? I would also definitely hope/want to try to see you before then.
