Guest guest
Ohhh dear! What an awful thing to have to endure. Marie has got to be one of the strongest women I've ever heard of. I don't think there are many who could make it through surgery like that aware and feeling everything :-O What a fighter she must be. Please pass on my wishes of a full recovery to Marie and to Sue. What a terrible time for the family... Many special thoughts are with them! -Rhea

Guest guest
An unbelievable nightmare! Just too much to handle I'm sure. I feel so bad for all of them, I just pray they all come out of this OK. Thanks for letting us know Lana. I just can't even imagine going through surgery like that! I've heard of it happening, what a nightmare. One horrible thing after another, so sad and scary. I will pray. Cindylouwho From: Lana Christensen I'm writing to request prayers for Sue Ginley's mom. .. She fell last week..She had ruptured her spleen when she fell! ...falling apart, stitches weren't holding, and she was losing blood faster than they could pump it in... When they took her to surgery, they gave her anesthesia, but the only part that worked was the part that paralyzed her. She could feel and hear everything, .. Marie (Sue's mom) was supposed to get a pain pump to help alleviate the pain. She was to get it at 8:30 in the morning. At 8:00 that NIGHT, Sue discovered that the whole time, it hadn't been turned on!...She said she felt like she had Post Traumatic Stress, watching everything her Mom was going through and sitting with her at the hospital. Guest guest
Thanks Cindy! I just spoke with Sue, and her Mom was carrying a 103 temp. so they drained some fluid from her lungs, thinking that was what was causing the elevated temp. It evidently wasn't, so now they're testing the fluid to see if there may be an abcess or something. They may need to put a drain in her lung to drain the fluid, or do something else if there's an abcess. She is out of ICU however, but very tired, which is very understandable. Sue wasn't feeling well last night or today either (intestinal and tummy problems) so she was staying home tonight to rest and let her Mom rest as well. She said she'd try to keep me informed. She does really appreciate all the good thoughts and prayers. Love Lana 0:-) Re: Prayer Request-Sue Ginley's Mom An unbelievable nightmare! Just too much to handle I'm sure.
