Guest guest
I held off posting this until after those who were at the conference came back. On July 13th, Doris Sundberg passed away in the hospital after two separate and extensive surgeries were done two weeks apart. She hasn't been very active for the past two years or so, but did read the posts often, and kept all of you in her prayers. It's been heartbreaking to loose some one who has been closer than my own sister. Her warmth, compassion, and wonderful sense of humor will be missed so much, but will never be forgotten. Her support helped me through so many difficult times. What a blessing to have had her in my life. During the week before her first and most extensive operation, we talked often about the chance she might not come through. She wanted me to know her feelings on that issue, which were; 'if she made it, she would be better and out of pain, and if she didn't make it, she would also be better and out of pain, so either way she felt she had it made'. Besides myself, her other friends and family were also made aware of this. So we were well aware of the extreme seriousness of this surgery, and the chance she may not come through. Her family is so fortunate to have had her in their lives, as we all have been. My sympathy and prayers go out to them. Blessings, Cindy H Wisc.
