One of our list members passed away :(

I held off posting this until after those who were at the conference came

back.

On July 13th, Doris Sundberg passed away in the hospital after two separate

and extensive surgeries were done two weeks apart.

~~~~~~~~
Cindy - I'm saddened at the loss. Where was Doris from? Please send her family
my heartfelt condolences. What type of EDS did she have?
Since I'm planning on sending a note to her son,
this week, your condolences will be sent along too.
He sent updates daily by e-mail so her friends were all aware of how she was
coming along.
I know he too had been part of CEDA and/or EDSers lists at some time, but I'm
not sure if he is currently.
She had Hypermobility type. When they were operating on the descending aorta
they found an aneurysm, which apparently had not shown up on the pre-op
testing--which was extensive BTW.
Love, Cindy
Hope and Inspiration are what people that fight this disease leave with all
of us forever! I am sure Doris was one of those people that lived her life to
the fullest. I am sorry for the families lose as this is a greater pain then
the physical pain she had endured all her life.
In honor of Doris, and on behalf of EDS TODAY our staff would like to donate
(space in our newsletter) any memorial or tribute her family would like to
write about her. We must keep her memory forever in our hearts.
The family will also donate the cost of printing this memorial in
honor of a life lived to the fullest!!
Always
