Guest guest
Great information!! Thanks J.B. In addition to these resources, I would like to suggest that Bess Kennedy, formerly of Blue Ridge NC has a wealth of information and provides language training resources for migrant community organizations. She and her husband Wilton Kennedy have recently moved but you can reach her through Wilton at <Wkennedy @rev.net> I strongly recommend that you get in touch with Bess, I have examined her materials and have spoken with health center staff who have used her services and it all looks very good. Hope this helps. Bobbi Ryder "J. B." wrote: Finally I can help someone after all the help I have received here! These are some sites I have bookmarked on my home computer. I have not reviewed all of these: http://www.niddk.nih.gov/health/spanish.htm http://www.dentalcare.com/soap/patient/spanish/pe_menu.htm http://www.ncfh.org/pateduc.htm A whole page of sites for patient education in Spanish: http://www.ach.uams.edu/frlibrary/spanish_patient_education_website.html If you want to make some of your own, the following site offers free pictograms for download and use: http://www.usp.org/information/programs/pgrams/index.htm Also, I have gotten a number of free health-related Spanish videos available from helix.com (GalaxoWellcome).
