eyes update - Friday (+ questions for others with EDS)

I've done it ......'I KNOW I CAN' :-) (I did have a small panic attack

but I was saying to myself 'I KNOW I CAN'.) I think all the stress made

me have a serious of panic/anxiety attacks last night (Friday).

I went in by myself, the lady was very nice, to cut a long story short,

she was another one who knew about EDS (hurrah) :-) (so there are two

:-)) and I'm back again in 10 days.

I have a scratch on my eye (cornea), (EDS related) dry eyes

(blistering).... and will take a while to subside, however I will be

available to observe the TRANSIT OF VENUS on Tuesday using my good eye.

I have some questions to ask to those with Eye problems in connection

with their EDS (if you could email me offline I'd be greatful), it'll

help me and the opthalmologist(s).

1. Have any of you had scratches on your eye, and do you also have dry

eyes. Do the scratches occur when putting on eye shadow and mascara (NB

I don't wear make-up, well not on my eyes anyway, the only time I've

worn eye makeup was at our wedding.)

2. Are any of you with eye problems having problems with hearing ..

deafness etc.

3. Were any of you, like me, born with a lack of co-ordination.

4. Do any of you wear glasses or contact lenses. Are you short sighted

or long sighted, do you have a good eye and a bad eye.

5. Can you see 3D?

6. Are any of you colour blind?

No, I haven't had scratches but I do have dry eyes

Yes but mostly because my joints give out

or long sighted, do you have a good eye and a bad eye.

Glasses, right eye is worse, and I'm far sighted.

20/800 eyesight

5. Can you see 3D?

Yes

6. Are any of you colour blind?

No
