Guest guest
Thnak sto every who wrote about getting emergency medicaud. I didn't know they could do it quickly. Now I feel good knowing I have a chance at treatment for the bone infection. The DR's in NC just wanted me to go to a nursing home for 8 weeks. I " m 39! AndI saw too much of nursing homeswhen my MOm had her stroke. Even at a very nice place where she paid $5000 a month over her medicare and insurance she was assaulted by other patients. I just don't understand why medicare will pay for antibiotic therapy in a hospital or nursing home ut not at home. Just think how much money I will save by doing the IV's at home. I am independent using them, have a port-a-cath so all I need is weekly port needle changes and blood draws. BUt then again this is a government agency we are talking about. BUt thanks to all who wrote I feel so much better knowing I May not have to wait a long time to start my treatment. YOU definately made my weekend. Now we have to start packing. MOst of our stuff is going into storage but I did convince my MOm to put some of her old 1950's furniture in storage with our stuff and let us use our new living room couch and entertainment center.
