Guest guest
Carol = do you have a copy of that paper and the one that refutes it? My daughter's biology teacher let me see her big wall poster that showed where all the different genetic disorders are found. Chromosome 7 does have EDS VIIA2 on it as well as Osteogenesis imperfecta. I'd have to look up the other chormosomes to see where the other types of eDS are. BTW Autism is not located on Chromosome 7. Bonnie Re: Mental retardation and EDS ... is there a connection? > Hi all, > > My brother is borderline mentally retarded. Guest guest
Sue Did you ever fill out my speech and language survey when it was on the net last summer? If not, I'm still taking data. I can send you the survey as an attachment in a private email. This goes for anyone else who hasn't filled it out. Thanks in advance Bonnie Heintskiil EDS Variant Re: Re: Mental retardation and EDS ... is there a connection? Hi all, This is amazing. He is now 53 and lives in a group home-visiting us here 3-4 times a year.
Guest guest
Hi Bonnie: I will fill out your speech and language survey if that will help. Has anyone ever seen research on Hypermobile Joints and Developmental Delay and/or Autism. It would be astounding to me that with Autism causing the severe problems it does, that geneticists or others failed to notice or research if there is a correlation or even do studies. There is weird research done on very innocuous subjects. Or is there a preference not to look to0 closely at autistic or developmentally delayed persons?
