Guest guest
Congratulations, ine! It is so nice to hear about someone enjoying life again. Until you can't enjoy itanymore, you just don't know what it's like to get back your life. Sharry in Canada RBHR De Smet 27/08/2003 Celebration..... Hi everyone I am thrilled to be celebrating: - One year since my RHS was resurfaced - Seven weeks since the LHS was done (I saw Mr Treacy yesterday for my six-week checkup and all seems well). Oh, the thrill of being able to walk, without any pain: - Around the house - Along the shore - Around a garden centre - Into a store and shop..... I am one of the 'turtles' on the board....so my recovery is slower than some....and I am still using one stick to assist my LHS when walking outside....but I hope that will not be needed in a few weeks. My husband tells me that I have lost all my stress lines, and look 10 years younger, and my friends say that they feel as though their friend of four years ago has 'returned'. I feel so, so lucky that I live at a time - and happened to be in the right place - to take the benefit of some wonderful surgeons and their magic technique!! Warm wishes to all those who are trying to decide if resurfacing is the route they wish to take.
