, I'd think the group must find some way to make you an

honorary hippy. You'd have my vote, because your post got my

attention in a way you might not have expected.

I'm waiting for the insurance folks to tell me what pound of flesh

they want me to provide, and I've figure... I'll just get on the

Stairmaster 'til it starts to hurt. Your post reminded me that the

reason waiting is a problem...is that too much happens to the hip.

Which suggests to me that... the only way I'm likely to avoid

damaging my own hip beyond resurfacing is to stop doing that.

I know it's a duuuhhh for most everybody else here, but I sometimes

pretend I'm not an adult. (I may feel like I'm 17, but my left hip

keeps a much more cruel and accurate accounting) Like...let's see how

much I can get away with.

Thanks for your cautionary note. I'm sorry only that it had to come

at your expense.
