Guest guest
Jo, I'm lacking words to say. What you are going through is just too much to comprehend. I'm so sorry. :~( Cindylouwho Seeing Mac tomorrow Well, it has been hard coping with this darned knee of mine especially when it is popping out all over the place. Staying as rested as possible has been unusually difficult too thanks to noisy neighbours and my bladder deciding I need to pee twice as often as usual! lol I will be seeing Mac tomorrow though so hopefully he will check my leg over and give me some advice etc. I will let you know how things go and whether the poor guy passes out at having to face my dreaded knees again. I'm hoping I will be able to report the go ahead to arrange my stay with Prof too, but I doubt I will have any news on my wrist sadly with my MRI not having happened yet (you may well hear the explosion where you are when Mac finds that out!) I'm feeling pretty tired, sore and fed up tonight as my body is really throwing a tantrum right now, sapping my mental and physical energy. On top of my knee dislocation, wrist problems, on going shoulder rehab and scapula winging issues and as yet unsolved heart troubles, tonight I also developed a very painful ear infection with the pressure blowing out my left ear drum yet again. So I have lost what little hearing I had on my left side and have blood and nasty green gooky stuff oozing out of my ear too for good measure. Ah the glamorous life of a mutant! So now I will have to try and find time to get antibiotics and a referral back to my ENT specialist from my GP tomorrow as well. Aargh, why can't my body just take a vacation occasionally? Oh well, at least I will be able to entertain the children in my straight by whistling through my ear - yes, I can genuinely do that with my perforation! Just sign me up for the freak show now.... Anyway, enough of my moaning and rambling! Thanks again for your support and kindness these past difficult weeks and months. Please know that it has made a bigger difference to me that you can ever know. Thinking of you all and wishing you good, sunny and bright days. Love and hugs....Jo xxx To learn more about EDS, visit our website: http://www.ehlersdanlos.ca

Guest guest
Oh Jo, I DO so love reading your posts, whether it's bad news or not. You have such a GREAT attitude! Too bad you can't bottle it and sell it, you would be a millionaire many times over! Of course, I HATE hearing that your obstinate body isn't cooperating again! Hey, have you tried 'talking' to it? Believe it or not, if you've read the posts lately, it may help! You will be in my thought and prayers, Jo!
