Guest guest
Dr. DeSmet told me that I should continue my fosomax - he gave us a yellow pill for a few weeks that was for pain and to prevent the problem. Not an answer to your question, but you can read between the lines. Guest guest
Hey Bev! Thank you for responding to my question. That eases my mind. You're great to help me! How's your hip doing just over a year later? Guest guest
Hi Susie - So far, I am doing great and have no reason to think that this will not last forever. I do all manner of things, like cross my legs, that I would not be able to do if I had a THR. I bless the day I found this site and Dr. DeSmet. I was a mess, having broken my hip 12 years prior. Dr. Mont said that, he recommended a THR for me. He said, if in insisted, he would resurface me after the the device was apporoved, but in a 2 operation process (grafting, then resurfacing). I think Dr. DeSmet took 5 minutes longer with me than my counterparts. Feel free to contact me directly > > > OK, this may be a stupid question but I was wondering if anyone > > knows > > > if Fosomax might contribute to undesirable heterotopic > > > ossification....what do you all think???
