I'm not one to jump into a dog-pile just because everyone else is, so I'll

refrain. But I am sure curious to hear exactly what kind of discussion Captain

Cardenas expected to hear on an EMS discussion group if it isn't the practice of

EMS? Perhaps it is we who have a misunderstanding of what the group is supposed

to be about?

You again have a valid point Rob. Perhaps Mr Cardenas would feel more

comfortable if we were to discuss drying wet firehose or the latest pumper in

development. But, then again, that would prove my point. To each, his own. I,

for one wouldn't want to discuss bunker gear, unless it has some bearing on my

practice of emergency medicine.

Just my thoughts.

We skin cars in many ways.

I had a man who was kicked by a cow in a tender area In the ED while

on a clinal rotation. He was not happy. By the end of my 8 hours he

was in the OR. He was even less happy. No idea as to out ome.
