I'm sure once you're cleared to do some stretching and serious ROM work, it'll come back like gangbusters. My situation was quite different: I was heading downhill fast that last couple of months, so even though I feel pretty weak and wimpy my ROM is definitely better than it was that last month or two before surgery. I can hardly wait until I'm cleared for PT. My chair is right beside my stationary bike - you have no idea how hard it's been to resist the temptation just to *try* it for a few minutes. I could have sworn Dr. Gross sewed a Coke can into the incision area when he closed me up!! I actually looked down at that area the first time I sat in a firm chair.
