Guest guest
I'm a speech language pathologist and so I frequently get fliers in the mail for various conferences, which occasionally seem to have little to do with speech therapy. I got one of those today, but my husband thinks I need to go anyway... The conference is called " Keeping Your Center of Gravity Over Your Base of Support: Assessing and Treating Individuals with Balance and Mobility Problems " Sounds kind of like most of us could use this workshop, huh? *smile*
Guest guest
I think we should all attend! What a sight to see us all bumping into each other/the walls/them/the chairs/the speakers! I picture it like a bunch of Chatty Cathy's with no center of gravity! What a crack up! LOL! Debbi PS: For those of you too young to remember Chatty Cathy.. she was a doll, about 2' tall that walked and talked when you pulled her string. The thing is she keep walking no matter what she ran into, the wall, a corner. just keept on walking till she fell down and then she kept talking and walking! Guest guest
Liza and Debbi, Yes, we should attend. We could be their test subjects or examples. Heck, maybe their techniques would actually work! I laughed so hard picturing Debbi's scenario of us all just randomly bumping into things and falling down. I kind of pictured a bunch of those wind-up toys that walk around and fall after walking into something, falling off teh edge of the table, or falling on their own for no reason.
