I'm a speech language pathologist and so I frequently get fliers in

the mail for various conferences, which occasionally seem to have

little to do with speech therapy. I got one of those today, but my

husband thinks I need to go anyway... The conference is

called " Keeping Your Center of Gravity Over Your Base of Support:

Assessing and Treating Individuals with Balance and Mobility

Problems " Sounds kind of like most of us could use this workshop,

huh? *smile*

Can you just see them looking on trying to figure out how to untangle us

when we ultimately bump into each other and get our loose arms/legs/torsos

all wound up in a great big knot?

Somehow I think they would try a bit to unwind a leg or two but throw up

their arms and go to lunch just leaving us to unwind alone!

Liza and Debbi,

Yes, we should attend. We could be their test subjects or examples.

Heck, maybe their techniques would actually work! I laughed so hard

picturing Debbi's scenario of us all just randomly bumping into

things and falling down. I kind of pictured a bunch of those wind-up

toys that walk around and fall after walking into something, falling

off teh edge of the table, or falling on their own for no reason.
